Whether you’re birthing in a hospital, at home, or in a birth center, you deserve to feel informed, empowered, and supported every step of the way. Our labor prep sessions are private and intimate so you can get the most out of our time together. Each session allows space for open conversation based on what you and/or your partner need in that moment. From education and mental prep to birth planning and coping techniques, our curriculum is completely customized and tailored to meet your specific needs, desires, and birth wishes.

When it comes to prepping for labor, partner and mental prep is KEY! Making sure your partner is on the same page, knows how to support you in the midst of labor, and can advocate for you and your baby is a huge step in making sure your birth goes as smoothly as possible. Mental prep ensures you're in the right headspace and you know how to cope and listen to your body, giving you the best possible chance of birthing intuitively.
We cover all of this, answering your questions and making sure you and your partner feel comfortable and confident as you head into your labor.

Making a plan for your birth can be really overwhelming, especially when you don’t know what options are available to you. Plans can (and often do) change, especially during labor. But having a foundation to base your decisions on can be really helpful. This one-on-one planning session includes basic education as needed, insight into your various options and their risks and benefits, and support and guidance as you make decisions and prepare for your upcoming birth.

From lack of resources and support options to an inadequate amount of education and preparation, postpartum is the most overlooked and under-supported stage of your parenting journey.
This is intentional one-on-one time for you and your partner to process your birth, have questions answered, and discuss your headspace, new parenthood struggles, relationship shifts, and more. These meetings are check-ins for you AND your partner (did you know they can experience PPD/PPA too?), and will focus heavily on the mental and emotional weight postpartum carries.

Whether you had a positive or negative experience in your previous birth(s), there are often elements you'd like to do or approach differently. Our "Not My First Rodeo" sessions are perfect for repeat clients and parents of multiples, and focus on processing and evaluating how your previous pregnancy, labor, and birth(s) went so we can help set you up for success this time around. What did you like? What did you not like? What are you hoping for this time? How can we help you achieve your goals?
