I’m a 30-something momma to 2 beautiful girls and wife to my person, Cameron, living in Fort Worth, TX. I’m a book-lover, iced chai connoisseur, and birth advocate passionate about helping families be informed and empowered to claim their right to an amazing birth.

I fell into the world of birth work after birthing both of my girls un-medicated and out-of-hospital. I was amazed by how strong, prepared, and fearless I felt (through 2 very different birth experiences), all thanks to the amazing support of my husband, our birth team, and our childbirth educator. When I was pregnant with my youngest, I began chatting with others who were preparing to bring their babies earthside, as well as women who had already given birth and were navigating the ebbs and flows of postpartum. I quickly realized just how little most people actually know about pregnancy, birth, and postpartum. I assumed everyone had a similar experience to mine, and was shocked by how much trauma, fear, and regret there was surrounding what should be such a magical experience. My heart broke for those women whose experiences and birth stories could have been so different with a little intentional prep-work and support. One day, I thought, “There’s no one-size-fits-all for birth. There can’t be. Which means the best prep can’t be either.”

*Light bulb moment*

I launched the Pregnancy Doula in August of 2021 with the goal of educating and supporting women and their families through one of life’s most beautiful and vulnerable seasons. Not long after, in October of 2022, I became a certified fertility doula. Now, I offer fertility support and private, customized prenatal and postpartum education (both in-person and virtually), putting a special focus on both mental and partner prep and support. So, welcome! Around here we drink lots of coffee, live in comfy clothes, and fully embrace the messy bun. Because #momlife. We do transparency and authenticity, celebrating uniqueness, enough-ness and together-ness in one of life’s most magical (and exhausting) experiences. So whether you’re joining me online or in-person, come as you are – all are welcome here! I can’t wait to walk with you.
